April 2022, Samyong Inspection&Engineering was selected as a participation agency for the goverment research project (Commercialization technology development for enhancement of Accident Tolerant Fuel)

Samyong will conduct the research on the NDT equipment and technology for the development of the accident tolerant fuel rod for the next 5 years.

In addition, with collaboration in Fraunhofer, Samyong is trying to develop the new NDT system and sophisticate the NDT technology for the enhancement of the safety of NPPs in Korea.
